Overlooking Similk Bay, this garden embraces its marine climate.  A little more sun and a little less rain mark its position west of the Skagit tulip fields.  Sinuous, minimal concrete forms are offset by plantings that take advantage of the extra sun and allow themselves to be shaped by the windy exposure.  These juxtapositions forge a space that is unique yet well suited to its promontory site.
